First Trip via Black Hills and Yellowstone

Yellowstone's Old Faithful area from above. It includes many geysers, springs and other volcanic activity. It is named after Old Faithful Geyser which erupts about every 90 minutes. There's a special phone number for geyser forecast tapes. In this picture, the geyser is in the middle of the semi-circular are in the lower right (but not erupting). Several facilities like hotels, a store and a post office are located around Old Faithful. Grand Geyser is near the bridge over the river slightly higher and right of the middle of the picture.
